Key Features
New AI-Powered Capabilities in Praxedo
Your field resources stay focused on the job. Your work order reports come back sharper. And your back-office spends less time on manual verification.
🚩Testing phase through December 2026: This feature is available to a limited number of customers. To participate, contact your Account Manager.
This release introduces new AI use cases in Praxedo, covering the entire lifecycle of the work order report.
1. AI-Powered Comment Rewriting
In the field, your field resource needs to focus entirely on the job at hand. Writing the work order report immediately afterward should be quick and frictionless—it should never slow them down on their way to the next job. With AI, every comment can be rewritten in just one click, producing a clear, professional report that's ready to be shared.
Whether you're a back-office user or a field resource on Praxedo Mobile, AI-Powered Comment Rewriting is now available directly in the work order report. In a single click, the text you've entered is rewritten (grammar, punctuation, and professional tone) without altering the meaning. You can accept the suggestion, edit it, or keep your original version.
2. AI Photo Analysis
Following successful pilot programs launched in 2024, AI photo analysis is now fully integrated into Praxedo's AI offering. Available from Praxedo Mobile, this feature enables AI to analyze photos taken by the field resource during a work order, directly from their smartphone. Once a photo is captured, the technician simply triggers the "AI Check" field, and the system automatically evaluates compliance based on your company's custom criteria.
You can create as many different checks as you need and add them as required fields in your forms. This feature is custom-configured by our Professional Services team to align perfectly with your specific business requirements.
3. Work Order Report Consistency Analysis
Beyond individual photo analysis, AI can now analyze all data entered in a work order report to verify its overall consistency. This cross-referencing capability detects discrepancies between completed fields—such as a fault description that does not match the recorded measurements, a closure code that contradicts the observations noted, or conflicts between textual information and attached photos.
Like AI Photo Analysis, this feature is custom-configured by our Professional Services team based on your specific business requirements.
Use Case
Let's say an HVAC maintenance technician, Alex, responds to a boiler breakdown at a residential customer's home. At the end of the work order, Alex quickly types into the report: "pressure switch issue fixed all good." With one click on "Rewrite with AI", the suggested text becomes: "Replaced defective pressure switch. System restored to normal operation. No residual anomalies detected." Alex approves it with a single click, making the report immediately ready for the customer with no further editing needed.
The photo of the replaced part is then submitted to the AI for analysis, which confirms the part is correctly installed and that connections are visible and compliant. Result: Compliant. Finally, the consistency analysis reviews the entire report: the closure code "Work Order Complete" matches the description, the "before" photo shows a damaged pressure switch, and the "after" photo confirms the new part was installed. Analysis result: Compliant—no inconsistencies detected. Your back-office team knows immediately that this report requires no manual correction before being forwarded to the end customer.
Together, these three AI use cases directly improve two of your business’s key performance indicators: the quality of work order reports shared with customers and the reliability of data collected during each job. The result is fewer requested corrections, fewer disputes over work quality, and a stronger professional image—work order after work order.
⚠️ Use cases 2 and 3 require custom configuration by the Professional Services team, and their implementation is subject to a separate professional services engagement.

New Schedule Interface
Scheduling and managing routes has never been smoother. The new schedule interface puts the right information exactly where your dispatchers need it, right when they need it.
🚩 Older plans: Not available
🚩 New plans: Included with all plans (BASIC, ADVANCED, OPTIMIZED, and AUTOMATED)
Your dispatchers spend hours every day in the schedule organizing and managing field routes. Finding an available technician quickly, spotting open time slots at a glance, or reacting instantly to unexpected field events are repetitive tasks that can seriously slow down your operations.
First previewed in beta during the Spring 2025 Release, the new Schedule Interface is now enhanced with additional intuitive features and advanced filters.
This interface is now Praxedo's primary scheduling platform. It is more than a visual refresh—it is a completely streamlined overhaul designed to make daily scheduling faster, smoother, and better adapted to each user's working style.
Every member of your team can configure the interface to fit their preferences, with no special permissions required:
- Display more information when hovering over a work order to access context without opening the full record.
- Assign custom colors to field resources to identify them instantly on the schedule.
- Switch between compact and normal display modes to adapt visual density to the number of resources you manage.
- Hide weekends in the weekly view to stay focused on working days.
Advanced filters for work orders and field resources allow you to manage teams and activities as efficiently as possible:
- Enhanced side-panel filters refine the list of unscheduled work orders by type, status, or other custom criteria.
- The ability to select and display only the resources that matter to you, while hiding those that are irrelevant at any given moment.
- A workload indicator: tracks each technician's projected workload for any given day—ensuring reliable visibility whether you check the schedule first thing in the morning or mid-day.
From there, it is simply a matter of spotting open slots in your field routes and scheduling a work order directly via drag-and-drop.
Use Case
Here's how it works in practice: an emergency work order requiring a specific skill has just been created and must be handled this afternoon. The dispatcher filters the side panel to display all unscheduled emergency work orders, sorts them by "due before" date, filters for resources with the required skill, identifies those with open slots, and assigns the work order with a simple drag-and-drop. Everything needed to schedule with confidence is located in one place.
Reserved Time Slots Management
Just like the previous interface, the new schedule lets dispatchers quickly spot time slots dedicated to a specific work order type, account, or geographic zone, preventing them from encroaching on reserved slots.
New capability: creating, editing, and deleting slots can now be done in bulk. A single slot can be applied to or removed from multiple field resources in a single action, whereas the previous interface required handling each resource individually. This provides total control over your team's availability in just a few clicks.
Starting with the OPTIMIZED plan, the new interface also includes a route value indicator: Assign a value to each work order—such as projected revenue or estimated parts consumption—and instantly visualize the daily total per technician to manage your operations with greater precision.
In short, the new schedule is a major leap forward in the scheduling experience. Your dispatchers now have a fully customizable tool that adapts to their needs and clarifies daily route orchestration. Best of all, more features are already on the way.

Projects Module
Manage your projects and job sites directly in Praxedo: coordinate tasks and work orders, define dependencies between them, and never lose sight of project progress.
🚩 Older plans: Not available
🚩 New plans: Included with the ADVANCED, OPTIMIZED, and AUTOMATED plans
Pre-launched in December 2025, the Projects Module lets you structure and drive your job sites directly within Praxedo. Beyond standard work order management, it allows you to organize activities into projects composed of phases, administrative tasks, and field work orders—complete with customizable dependencies between each step to ensure a logical, controlled sequence.
Whether you manage complex job sites, multi-site deployments, or large-scale installations, this module is built specifically to meet your needs. The Projects Module now includes two major new capabilities to elevate your operational orchestration:
-
A schedule view provides a visual, chronological representation of all tasks, work orders, and their dependencies. At a glance, dispatchers can identify critical sequences, anticipate bottleneck risks, and adjust work order dates accordingly.
- For example, if an "Installation" work order cannot start until the "Equipment Order" task is complete, Praxedo displays this dependency clearly so you can act before a delay risks the project timeline.
-
Project templates let you build on your existing processes. Define a standard structure for recurring projects and deploy it with a single click whenever a new project kicks off. Your teams gain consistency, your dispatchers gain speed, and you gain peace of mind.
- For example, if your installation projects always follow the same sequence—an administrative task followed by three distinct types of work orders—you can save this sequence as a template and apply it to every new project of that type.
Additionally, every work order created in Praxedo—whether standalone or part of a project—can be scheduled within a single, unified interface, simplifying how you optimize resource availability. Break down operational silos. Praxedo brings all your resources together in one tool to provide the flexibility you need. Whether managing maintenance, installations, deployments, or complex projects, you can assign the right resources at the right time to optimize your entire operation.
With the addition of the schedule view and project templates, the Projects Module functions as a true end-to-end management tool. Dispatchers gain a chronological, structured view to anticipate risks and address delays early. Teams gain consistency and speed through standardized, reusable processes. Together, these features shift operations away from isolated work-order management toward methodical, strategic project delivery from the first phase through to final handoff. Every available slot in your field routes becomes an opportunity to move projects forward.
Use Case
Consider the deployment of electric vehicle charging stations (EVSE) across multiple residential complexes. A company specializing in EV charging station installations secures a contract to equip twenty residential buildings across multiple regions. Each site involves preliminary surveys, civil engineering, field crews, and commissioning work—all of which must follow a strict sequential order. Before using the Projects Module, Jordan, the project manager, juggled Excel spreadsheets, emails, and Praxedo simultaneously. This resulted in scattered information, unexpected delays, and minimal visibility into overall progress.
With the Projects Module, each deployment becomes a structured project made up of four interdependent phases:
- Site preparation and survey
- Civil engineering and parallel installation by multiple crews
- Testing and commissioning
- Inspection and final delivery
Thanks to the schedule view, Jordan can see all dependencies between phases at a glance and reorganize the schedule before a delay snowballs. There is no longer a need for back-and-forth calls to check job statuses; everything is centralized within Praxedo. Because these deployments follow the same pattern across all sites, the company created a standard project template that can be duplicated with a single click for every new contract.

Continuous Improvements
Pre-Diagnosis
Qualify faults remotely to avoid unnecessary travel and ensure every work order is set up for success before your technician arrives on site.
🚩Testing phase through December 2026: This feature is available to a limited number of customers. To participate, contact your Account Manager.
A wasted trip is a significant operational drain. An unidentified part or an unanticipated skill requirement can prevent a technician from completing the job on the first visit, causing customer frustration and avoidable business costs. Pre-Diagnosis is designed to improve work order qualification before assignment occurs. Through an automated email or SMS workflow, Praxedo sends the end customer a link to a guided report. Composed of customized steps, this report prompts the customer to describe their issue in detail, attach photos, or record a video. This gives you a clear picture of the situation before the work order is scheduled. The photos and videos submitted by the customer are accessible directly within the work order details in Praxedo, and affected work orders are easily identifiable via an automated flag.
Use Case
A customer reports that their heat pump has stopped heating and is making an unusual noise. Instead of relying on a vague phone call, you send them a pre-diagnosis link with four guided steps: take a photo of the error code on the control panel, record the noise from the outdoor unit while it is running, and photograph the nameplate showing the model and refrigerant used. Thanks to the archived video report, the dispatcher immediately identifies a compressor issue requiring F-Gas certification and a specific part, allowing them to schedule the correct technician with the right equipment for the next day.
Pre-Diagnosis removes the need for time-consuming, phone-based qualification. While customers complete their guided reports in a few clicks, your teams gain precision in selecting the right technician and confidence in their scheduling decisions—resulting in fewer unnecessary trips, fewer assignment errors, and improved field profitability.
⚠️ Sending scenarios via text message requires a separate agreement with an SMS delivery provider (volume-based pricing applies, billed separately).

Advanced Scheduling
Offer optimal time slots that account for both your operational constraints and your customer's availability.
🚩 Older plans: Available with the PREMIUM plan
🚩 New plans: Available with the OPTIMIZED and AUTOMATED plans
Advanced Scheduling is accessible from the dedicated tab within the details of a qualified work order. It searches for available time slots across field resources based on your customer's availability, then selects the best-fit technician using a scoring system that factors in skills, workload, and travel time. Three new constraints are now available to refine your searches for more precise recommendations:
- Match the associated account: Select this option to suggest only field resources with available time slots linked directly to the work order's account—ideal when resources are organized by customer account or contract.
- Match the field resource's geographic zones: Enable this option to limit the search to technicians whose operational areas match the work order's location, helping keep resources focused on their assigned zones to reduce travel time.
- Match the time slot's postal zone: This option refines the search further by accounting for the specific postal zone defined directly within a technician's availability time slots, rather than just the general postal zone listed in their profile. This ensures tighter alignment between availability management and scheduling.

Praxedo Mobile
Release after release, Praxedo Mobile 2026 has evolved into a comprehensive field tool for your teams. This release marks another major step forward, making it the ideal time to complete your migration.
🚩 Older and new plans: Available with all plans
The Praxedo Mobile app features a clean, intuitive interface that supports work order creation from the field, asset management, and availability time slot viewing. In this release, it provides access to AI-powered features depending on your plan.
This update also introduces work order history access: Field resources can now view the fields completed during previous work orders directly from their mobile app, including custom and hidden fields.
The vast majority of our customers have transitioned their field resources to the new app. It is available on Android (Play Store) and iOS (App Store). If you have not made the switch yet, we strongly encourage you to do so before the end of June.
This release marks a critical milestone in the transition timeline:
- End of June 2026: The previous app will be removed from app stores. It will no longer be possible to install or reinstall the older version, or to onboard new field resources using it.
- End of 2026: The previous app will become permanently non-functional. Field resources attempting to open it will see a black screen and will be unable to use the application.
To support your teams through this transition, Praxedo provides a step-by-step migration guide covering installation, configuration, and technical prerequisites.
Migrating to the new Praxedo Mobile app guarantees continuity of service for your field teams, gives them access to the latest features, and ensures a smooth transition into the end of 2026. The earlier you act, the smoother the transition will be for your entire operations team.
⚠️ Important reminder: The previous app will be removed from app stores at the end of June 2026 and will become permanently non-functional by the end of 2026.

Nepting: Accept Card Payments Directly from Mobile
Collect payment on site as soon as a work order is complete to reduce outstanding invoices, shorten payment cycles, and improve cash flow.
🚩 Older plans: Available with the PREMIUM plan
🚩 New plans: Available with the OPTIMIZED and AUTOMATED plans
Field resources can now collect contactless card payments directly from a compatible, NFC-enabled Android smartphone without requiring a dedicated payment terminal. Thanks to the Nepting SoftPOS integration, the smartphone itself serves as the payment terminal.
From the work order report, the technician enters the amount, initiates the payment, and prompts the customer to tap their card near the phone's NFC zone. The transaction is confirmed in Praxedo within seconds, a payment receipt can be sent to the customer, and the full transaction history remains accessible directly within the work order form.
Use Case
Sam completes a maintenance work order at a residential customer's home. Instead of sending an invoice to be processed later, Sam enters the amount into the work order form and presents the phone to the customer for contactless payment. Within seconds, the transaction is approved and recorded directly in the work order.
⚠️ Available on Android only with NFC enabled. Implementation requires support from a project manager and is subject to an additional professional services fee. Payment via SumUp remains available on both Android and iOS.

Microsoft Business Central (MSBC) Connector
Reduce duplicate data entry and manual coordination between Praxedo and Business Central. Initiate workflows from the field, unify reference data, and ensure end-to-end pricing consistency.
🚩 Older plans: Available as an add-on with the CLASSIC and PREMIUM plans
🚩 New plans: Available as an add-on with the ADVANCED, OPTIMIZED, and AUTOMATED plans
The integration between Praxedo and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central continues to expand.
Item Pricing and Names
Item synchronization is now more precise. For items configured as "generic" in Business Central, the custom price and name defined in your order are automatically transmitted to Praxedo without defaulting to the catalog's standard price. Discounts applied in Business Central are also factored into the amount sent to Praxedo. Additionally, if a field resource adjusts a price when closing a work order in Praxedo, that updated price is automatically pushed back into Business Central.
This enhancement ensures tighter pricing consistency between your two systems, from the initial purchase order through to the work order closure.
Single-Line Service Order Creation from Praxedo
Previously, any single-line Service Order in Business Central had to be created in the ERP before it could be accessed in Praxedo. Now, when a work order is created and closed directly in Praxedo, a single-line Service Order is automatically generated in Business Central—with no manual action required in the ERP. The entire flow can now be initiated directly from the field, eliminating the need to pre-create documents on the ERP side.
⚠️ Please Note: This feature covers single-line Service Orders only (one work order = one line in the Service Order). Multi-line Service Orders (corresponding to a group of work orders in Praxedo) are unaffected by this update and will continue to be managed from Business Central.
Business Central Resources Synchronized as Praxedo Items
Some customers don't bill field resource time as labor hours—instead, they bill them as service deliverables. These are Resources defined in Business Central (for example: Charging Station Installation, Annual Audit, or Diagnostic). Previously, these resources couldn't be selected directly by the technician in Praxedo. You either had to duplicate them as items—which meant maintaining two separate reference datasets—or handle billing manually after the fact.
Now, if you implement it (optional workflow), Resources defined in Business Central are automatically synced into Praxedo as items. They are available for the field resource to select on a work order, just like any standard item. Upon work order close, the consumed resources are pushed back into the Sales Order or Service Order in Business Central, linked to the correct resource.
This sync ensures your reference data stays consistent without duplicate maintenance, keeping Business Central as your single source of truth. Billing flows back automatically—no manual reprocessing required.
